The Ministry of National Education has announced plans to hold a second teacher recruitment examination in 2026. Minister Mohamed Seghir Saadaoui revealed the initiative, stating it aims to strengthen educational staffing and address the sector’s evolving needs. The announcement coincides with professional examinations for other administrative roles within the education system.
Minister Saadaoui made the announcement during the launch of the third edition of the Mathematics Olympiad, which included visits to the Omarani Brothers Middle School and the El Mokrani High School. He emphasized that the new recruitment drive will be accompanied by professional exams for administrative staff, ensuring comprehensive coverage of personnel needs in educational institutions.
The Minister also disclosed that the oral interviews for the upcoming teacher recruitment exam, based on qualifications, are scheduled for February 21st. He highlighted that the process will be fully digital and open to all eligible candidates.
“Our services have been actively addressing the concerns and queries of candidates on the ground through continuous daily monitoring,” Saadaoui stated. He affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring the examination is conducted with complete transparency and fairness, fostering a level playing field for all participants.
The primary objective of this recruitment drive, according to Saadaoui, is to equip educational institutions with the necessary skills and expertise to meet staffing requirements, ultimately contributing to the improvement of the overall quality of education.
