Algiers, January 18, 2026 – Algeria has secured the top global ranking in the number of activities organized during the 17th edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, according to an announcement from the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN).
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises released a statement today highlighting Algeria’s successful participation in GEW. This year’s event was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and saw significant engagement from various stakeholders within the national entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The widespread participation included ministerial departments, support and guidance bodies, startups, micro-enterprises, and both national and international partners.
