Algiers, January 18, 2026 – The National Maritime Passenger Transport Company announced today the postponement of several ferry trips to France due to adverse weather conditions.
According to an official statement, the Skikda to Marseille ferry, originally scheduled for January 19th, has been delayed and is now expected to depart on January 21st at 12:00 PM. Registration for this voyage will take place between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the 21st.
Similarly, the Oran to Marseille ferry, initially planned for January 21st, has been pushed back to January 23rd, with a departure time of 12:00 PM. Passengers booked on this route should adjust their travel plans accordingly.
Furthermore, the ferry from Algiers to Marseille, planned for January 28th, is now scheduled to leave on January 30th at 11:00 AM.
The company also stated that registration for the Algiers to Marseille trip, initially scheduled for January 20th, will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
