Majestic Autos, the exclusive distributor of Hyundai Motor in Algeria, has announced partnership agreements with ten independent and professional dealers. This strategic move aims to broaden Hyundai’s distribution network and pave the way for its official launch in the Algerian market.
This initial phase will cover 14 wilayas (provinces), including Ain Defla, Annaba, Blida, Bouira, Boumerdes, Chlef, Jijel, M’Sila, Ouargla, Relizane, Skikda, Tipaza, and Tizi Ouzou, among others. These locations were carefully selected as part of a balanced distribution strategy.
These partnerships are a cornerstone of Hyundai’s geographical expansion strategy within the country. A well-considered approach has been adopted, combining densely populated wilayas with those that serve as regional logistical and commercial hubs. This ensures a consistent national presence from the outset.
Majestic Autos emphasized that this initial group represents only the first phase of a broader plan aimed at achieving comprehensive and scalable national coverage. The company is committed to adhering strictly to the manufacturer’s international standards.
Instead of rapid expansion, the company is focusing on selecting partners who meet stringent requirements related to infrastructure, technical readiness, and service quality. This is to guarantee a unified brand image and customer experience across all wilayas. Additional wilayas are expected to join the distribution network in the coming weeks, as part of a gradual selection process designed to control the pace of expansion and link it to the quality of execution, not just the number of sales points.
After-sales service occupies a pivotal position in this strategy. Service centers will operate according to strict Hyundai standards, ensuring 100% availability of original spare parts, the use of manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools, and continuous technical and operational training for local teams. This guarantees a uniform level of customer care throughout the country.
This focus reflects an awareness of the specific characteristics of the Algerian market, which has become more sensitive to the issue of maintenance and the availability of spare parts when making purchasing decisions. Building trust is therefore a crucial factor in the brand’s success.
The actual activities of these partners are expected to commence during the third quarter of 2026. The current phase will be dedicated to completing organizational, technical, and training aspects, signaling Hyundai’s entry into a new stage.
