Trump Threatens Total Destruction of Iran if Assassination Attempted

In an exclusive interview, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he issued strict instructions to completely obliterate Iran should they attempt to carry out threats against his life. The interview, aired on NewsNation’s ‘Katie Pavlich Tonight’ to commemorate the first anniversary of his second term inauguration, revealed Trump’s unwavering stance on Iranian aggression.

Trump told host Katie Pavlich, “If anything happens, Iran will be utterly destroyed. I would strike them very hard, and I have issued very strong instructions concerning that.” He further criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for what he perceived as a lack of forceful response to Iranian threats during his time in office.

“A President has to defend the President,” Trump emphasized, suggesting that he would respond decisively even if the threats were directed at someone other than the President himself.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln recently transited the Strait of Malacca, navigating between the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean, en route to the northern Arabian Sea. The carrier is expected to arrive in the Middle East within the next 72 hours. During its passage through the Bay of Bengal and into the Indian Ocean, the Abraham Lincoln reportedly disabled its Automatic Identification System (AIS), a standard operational security measure.

This deployment follows President Trump’s warning of a potential military strike against Iran in response to their handling of recent public protests sparked by deteriorating economic conditions. Last week, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian cautioned that any targeting of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei would be considered a declaration of all-out war, a statement made in response to President Trump’s remarks suggesting it was “time to look for new leadership in Iran.”

Pezeshkian’s warning came after Trump’s interview with Politico, where he voiced those sentiments, urging the Iranian leadership to prioritize their own people.
