Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, convened a working session at the ministry headquarters to assess the activities of central administration officials from January 6th to 21st, 2026. During the meeting, the Minister listened to presentations from various officials, covering all completed activities, particularly those related to ongoing improvements to public services and the implementation of instructions and directives issued by the Minister in previous meetings.
In this context, Saihi stressed the need to address any violations that harm the interests of citizens. He directed the Inspector General of Labor to intensify field visits to work sites to assess compliance with labor laws and improve working conditions. He also emphasized strengthening awareness efforts regarding adherence to laws and regulations that protect workers’ rights, especially concerning occupational health and safety.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination with various sectors to ensure that citizens fully benefit from their rights, without being burdened with providing documents available to public administrations. He stressed the exclusive reliance on digital services through the development of interactive platforms that facilitate citizens’ access to their rights remotely.
In a move to bring services closer to citizens, the Minister directed the creation of administrative complexes in the newly established provinces, bringing together various supervised bodies in one location. This aims to facilitate access to services and avoid the difficulty of moving between administrations.
The Minister concluded the session by emphasizing the great importance of continuous training for human resources in the sector, considering it a fundamental pillar for improving performance and enhancing the quality of public services. Continuous improvement of public service is a key priority. The ministry is committed to providing better services.
