Tunis, Tunisia – Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf arrived in Tunis this evening to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Tripartite Mechanism of Neighboring Countries of Libya (Algeria-Tunisia-Egypt). The meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Monday.
The Minister’s participation comes under the instruction of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Tripartite Mechanism aims to coordinate efforts between Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt to support stability and promote a political solution in Libya. The meeting will focus on discussing the latest developments in the Libyan situation and exploring ways to enhance cooperation among the three neighboring countries in facilitating dialogue and reconciliation among the Libyan parties.
