DZWatch Exclusive: January 25, 2026 – The Ministry of National Education has issued an important announcement today regarding the verification of registration data for candidates preparing for the 2026 Brevet d’Enseignement Moyen (BEM) and Baccalaureate exams.
The Ministry urges all registered candidates, both enrolled students and independent applicants, to access the National Office for Examinations and Competitions (ONEC) websites between Monday, January 26, 2026, and Monday, February 9, 2026. During this period, candidates are required to review their registered information and ensure its accuracy.

In the event that errors are identified, the Ministry has outlined the following procedures:
- Enrolled Students: Report any discrepancies to their respective school principals before February 10, 2026.
- Independent Candidates: Notify the Directorate of Education where they are registered, or the Wilaya Center for Distance Education and Training to which they are affiliated, depending on their situation, about any errors before the deadline of February 10, 2026.
