The Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Wassim Kouidri, inspected on Sunday the Research, Development, and Innovation Center of the “Saidal” industrial group. During the visit, he received a detailed technical presentation on the research projects registered at the center and toured several of its specialized facilities and laboratories.
On the sidelines of the visit, Mourad Belkheffa, the Acting General Manager of the Saidal Group, announced preparations for a strategic project in partnership with an Iranian partner possessing extensive expertise in the production of “peptides,” a modern technology in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
Belkheffa further noted that the project aims to localize the production of innovative and modern medicines in Algeria and enhance national capabilities in advanced pharmaceutical industries. This initiative aligns with the state’s strategy to advance scientific research and support the local production of high-value-added pharmaceuticals.
