The Algerian national handball team failed to secure third place at the African Nations Championship, currently being held in Kigali, Rwanda, from January 21 to 31.
Coach Bouchkriou’s squad lost the third-place play-off match this Saturday against Cape Verde with a score of 23–29.
Notably, “The Greens” have secured their participation in the World Championship in Germany after qualifying for the semi-finals of the African competition, where they were defeated by Tunisia with a score of 32–24.
