The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellawi, confirmed on Sunday in Bechar that the completion of the Gara Djebilet-Tindouf-Bechar western mining railway line will open new investment opportunities and end the region’s isolation. He attributed this progress to the commitment and courageous decisions of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
In a speech delivered during the President’s inauguration of this massive mining line, Djellawi stated that the project would create new investment prospects and break the region’s isolation, thanks to the President’s commitment, brave decisions, and insightful vision.
The Minister considered the realization of this historic project ahead of schedule a significant challenge overcome by the government, public and military authorities, and construction companies. He noted that everyone worked in complete harmony and coordination, turning the dream into reality. This, he added, confirms the clear maturity of national expertise and the actual development of national institutions under the President’s wise guidance.
He emphasized that with this massive project, “Algeria enters history,” adding that the region will experience a strong boost in facilitating transportation from Tindouf to various parts of the country.
