Record Gold Price in 2025

Gold prices rose to a record level on Tuesday, with spot transactions increasing by 0.5% to reach $4,467.66 per ounce, after hitting another record of $4,469.52 earlier in the session. U.S. gold futures for February delivery rose 0.74% to $4,502.30 per ounce.

Silver in spot transactions also rose by 0.19% to reach $69.15 per ounce, after hitting an all-time high of $69.44 on Monday. Gold has increased by 70% since the beginning of this year, surpassing the $4,400 level for the first time yesterday, while silver has risen 140% year-to-date, outperforming gold and approaching the $70 level in the previous session.

Regarding other precious metals, spot platinum rose 1.1% to $2,143.70 per ounce, its highest level in 17 and a half years, while palladium gained 1.42% to reach $1,784.30 per ounce, its highest level in nearly three years.
