The police services of the Bethioua district security in the province of Oran have dismantled a drug trafficking operation, seizing 210 hallucinogenic tablets of Pregabalin 300 mg and a prohibited bladed weapon.
According to a statement from the security services, the arrest followed information regarding the presence of two suspects within the jurisdiction who were distributing various types of drugs, using their residence as a storage site. In response, the authorities launched field investigations.
After monitoring their criminal activities and movements, and following the completion of all legal procedures with the public prosecutor at the Arzew court, a plan was executed that led to their arrest. The suspects were caught in possession of psychotropic substances intended for sale. Each individual played a specific role in the operation to evade security forces, but both were ultimately apprehended and the illegal substances were seized.
