The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired a coordination meeting on Tuesday evening at the ministry’s headquarters. The meeting was dedicated to monitoring the progress of administrative procedures related to the start of the Algiers-Tamanrasset railway project, specifically the section connecting Laghouat, Ghardaia, and El Meniaa.
This meeting serves as preparation for the announcement of calls for tenders to select control and monitoring offices. It also aims to support the National Agency for Studies and Monitoring of Railway Investment Projects, in its capacity as the delegated project owner, alongside the project owner’s assistant and the construction companies.
