Minister of National Education Mohamed Seghir Saadaoui revealed that professional experience of less than one month is not counted in teacher recruitment competitions, while any experience exceeding one month is counted, provided the relevant certificates are submitted.
During his appearance on “Radio Forum” on Monday, the Minister explained that practical experience is evaluated alongside the oral interview and the relevance of the degree to the specialization, allowing for the acquisition of specialized competencies that meet the sector’s needs.
Saadaoui emphasized that the stability of the teacher and the development of their skills are among the ministry’s priorities, and current procedures reflect the balance between exceptional integration and legal competition, ensuring the quality and continuity of education under all circumstances.
Regarding integration, the Minister explained that it was based on practical experience gained by contract workers during their previous work periods, which qualified them to perform their duties effectively.
Saadaoui added that this decision resulted in the integration of more than 82,000 teachers, following the previous integration of 62,000 teachers in 2022.
Regarding the results of the first term, the Minister of Education praised the achieved results, stating that educational institutions witnessed remarkable regularity in classes during the first term of the current academic year.
He added that great discipline was recorded from teachers, which contributed to creating an effective learning environment and achieving good results for students across various levels.
