The Ministry of National Defense revealed the weekly operational balance of the People’s National Army for the period from January 28 to February 3, 2026, across the national territory.
In the field of counter-terrorism, four terrorists were eliminated, and four Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, two hand grenades, a quantity of ammunition, and other items were recovered in Ain Defla, in the First Military Region.
Two terrorists, identified as “K.M.,” alias “Al-Tirmidhi,” and “H.M.,” alias “Nasreddine,” surrendered to military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar and In Guezzam. They were in possession of a Kalashnikov-type submachine gun, two semi-automatic rifles, a quantity of ammunition, and various items.
Additionally, six support elements for terrorist groups were arrested during separate operations across the national territory.
