Detachments of the People’s National Army arrested 76 drug traffickers and foiled attempts to smuggle 11 quintals and 38 kilograms of treated hashish across the border with Morocco. According to the weekly operational balance of the People’s National Army, 13.28 kilograms of cocaine and 681,454 hallucinogenic pills were seized.
Additionally, 299 individuals were arrested, and 29 vehicles, 194 power generators, and 159 jackhammers were seized, along with quantities of raw gold ore and stone mixtures, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations.
Twelve other individuals were arrested, and two machine guns, a Kalashnikov-type submachine gun, two hunting rifles, and 46,800 liters of fuel intended for smuggling were seized. Furthermore, 275 illegal immigrants of various nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
