Mustafa Haïdawi, the President of the Supreme Youth Council, revealed the council’s preparation for a significant event in the coming days, assembling 2500 elected youth from different parties and political formations. In a media briefing at the International Conference Center, Haïdawi announced that this gathering would be a national youth summit, soon to be scheduled. He described it as a “unique event in the Arab and African world” aimed at studying the Algerian experience in supporting youth participation in politics and maintaining its sustainability.

The council president emphasized the importance of this event in highlighting Algeria’s efforts to empower youth and preserve their active participation in political life.

Haïdawi stated that the summit would provide an opportunity for politically engaged youth to address all Algerian youth, aiming to empower this demographic in political life. He extended his gratitude to the President for supporting the council’s activities, emphasizing that the political backing strengthens their determination to intensify their efforts.

According to information from “Sbq Press,” the council has invited representatives from all parties, independent lists in elected municipal and provincial councils, and parliament members under 40 years old. Invitations were also extended to youth who participated in previous elections but were not successful.

The summit is expected to take place in the middle of the next week at the International Conference Center, under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
