Minister Youssef Belmehdi engaged in the proceedings of the 19th World Islamic Forum in Moscow on Tuesday. The forum, addressing the “Role of Religious Leaders in Protecting Religious and Ethical Values and Enhancing Peace and Security,” provided an opportune moment for the Minister to sign a memorandum of understanding and collaboration. This document solidified the partnership between the Minister of Religious Affairs and the General Secretary of the World Islamic Forum, along with the Head of Religious Administration for Muslims in the Russian Federation, Sheikh Rawi Ain Al-Din.

In a symbolic gesture, Minister Belmehdi presented copies of the Noble Qur’an, the Rodosi Qur’an, and a Braille-printed Qur’an to the Russian Islamic Center on this occasion.
