A coordination meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport via video conference to discuss the continued expansion of the national information system for vehicle registration.
The meeting was dedicated to finalizing preparations for the launch of the third phase of this national initiative.
This phase aims to integrate previously registered vehicles across the country into the new information system, utilizing provincial registration databases.
Discussions focused on reviewing organizational and procedural measures to ensure the comprehensive and effective implementation of the system, maintain the regular flow of operations, and improve the processing of registration files within specialized departments.
The meeting also served as a platform for exchanging views and allowing provincial representatives to present various concerns, particularly those related to the previous two phases implemented in May and October 2025. These phases covered vehicles under three years old imported by residents, as well as new vehicles imported by individuals.
