The National Retirement Fund has called on all pension or allowance beneficiaries born in January to renew their identification documents during January 2026.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Fund explained that it has implemented a modern digital method to avoid the hardship of traveling to local agencies, through the mobile application “RetraiteDz.”
For direct retirement, the Fund urged the use of the facial recognition feature (R-Face) to confirm that the beneficiary is alive.
Regarding transferred retirement, identity is confirmed through facial recognition, scanning the required documents depending on the case, and uploading them directly via the application.
The statement added that after the process is successfully completed, users will receive a notification through the application confirming the remote renewal of documents.
The National Retirement Fund also reminded that it adopts a system of renewing documents once a year, according to each retiree’s birth month, as part of efforts to improve service and simplify procedures.
