President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a meeting of the High Security Council on Thursday, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
According to the same source, the meeting addressed the results of the year 2025 and the outlook for 2026 regarding national defense, the situation on the borders with neighboring countries, and the general security situation within the country.
