Following direct intervention from the Minister of Sports and the President of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadi, the ticket sales website for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match between the Algerian national team and Nigeria was reopened on Thursday evening. The match is scheduled to take place next Saturday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.
This intervention aimed to address the frustration among Algerian fans due to difficulties encountered in purchasing tickets over the past few hours. What appeared to be a block on the electronic platform for the Algeria-Nigeria match was lifted, allowing the process to resume gradually starting at 8:00 PM.
Ticket prices for the match at the Grand Stade de Marrakech were set in three categories: 200 dirhams for the first category, 400 dirhams for the second, and 600 dirhams for the third, amid high demand from Algerian fans. Significant lag was reported on the platform due to record demand for tickets for the upcoming match.
