The Director General of Algérie Poste, Chiraez Bechiri, chaired a video conference meeting on Thursday with postal unit directors from various provinces across the country. According to a statement, the meeting was dedicated to launching the 2026 restructuring project for the postal service, which is based on modernization, improving service quality, and adhering to the reception charter.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to improve the cleanliness and organization of postal facilities, ensure the proper functioning of automated teller machines (ATMs), enhance the quality of reception and customer treatment, and improve the performance of the postal network.
In preparation for Ramadan 2026, the Director General stressed the importance of ensuring the constant availability of liquidity at postal offices and ATMs, strengthening technical readiness, and honoring distinguished units based on the results of national surveys.
Chiraez Bechiri also highlighted the importance of staff availability, particularly in remote areas, and the reinforcement of security measures to ensure the continuity of public service.
In conclusion, the Director General reaffirmed that the new image of the postal service for 2026 is built on discipline, a sense of responsibility, and the combined efforts of all executives and employees.
