The National Meteorological Office has warned of strong winds and thunderstorms in several provinces across the country today, Sunday.
A weather alert indicated that strong winds will continue until midnight in the provinces of Tissemsilt, Relizane, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Ouled Djellal, El M’Ghair, El Oued, Touggourt, Ghardaia, and Tindouf.
The Meteorological Office also expects significant thunderstorms to continue until midnight.
The alert covers the provinces of Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Guelma, Souk Ahras, as well as Tebessa, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Constantine, Mila, Batna, Biskra, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, M’Sila, Bouira, Blida, Medea, Djelfa, Ain Defla, Laghouat, El Bayadh, and Naama.
