Prime Minister Sifi Gharib held a bilateral meeting on Sunday with the Head of Government of the Tunisian Republic, Sara Zafarani Zanzri, at the Sakiet Sidi Youssef municipal headquarters.
Both parties praised the depth of the historical fraternal relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as their shared struggle for independence. They noted that the events of Sakiet Sidi Youssef, where the blood of the Algerian and Tunisian peoples mixed, remain an eternal milestone that is deeply rooted in the conscience of successive generations.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields and elevating it to the level of a strategic partnership, in accordance with the high directives of the leaders of the two countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Kais Saied.
