A fire in a grocery store resulted in the death of one person in the 1st of November neighborhood, in the municipality and district of Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
According to a statement from the Civil Protection, emergency services intervened at 05:43, successfully extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading. The victim was subsequently transferred to the morgue at the local hospital.
The Civil Protection services deployed a fire truck and an ambulance for the operation.
