Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived this evening in Addis Ababa, commissioned by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Attaf will participate in the 48th session of the Executive Council of the African Union, which will be held on February 11 and 12, 2026. This ministerial meeting, held in preparation for the African Union Summit scheduled for February 14 and 15, 2026, will involve discussions on a range of issues related to the role and position of joint African action in addressing the most significant political, security, and developmental challenges facing the continent.
On the sidelines of the Executive Council proceedings, the Minister of State will hold bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts, foreign ministers of brotherly African countries.
