Specialized ministerial committees have begun intensive field visits to 11 administrative districts slated for transformation into full-status provinces. This move fulfills the commitments of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to modernize administrative management and bring decision-making centers closer to the citizens.
This step follows instructions from Minister of Interior Saïd Sayoud, who stressed the importance of developing a precise “roadmap” to ensure a smooth and well-planned transition for these districts.
The committees are currently conducting a comprehensive assessment of readiness, focusing on technical, functional, and logistical aspects to ensure the new provinces can meet the population’s expectations upon their launch.
