Discussions Held Between Attaf and South African Counterpart

Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, held bilateral talks on Wednesday in Addis Ababa with Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa.

According to a ministry statement, these talks, held on the sidelines of the Executive Council of the African Union, were dedicated to exchanging views and analyses on the most significant challenges facing the African continent and exploring ways to strengthen coordination within the African Union.

The two ministers also discussed prospects for strengthening the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties, in line with the directives of the presidents of the two brotherly countries, the statement added.
