Prime Minister Saifi Gharib supervised the installation ceremony of the vigilance mechanism tasked with monitoring the national market supply of essential consumer goods in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan 2026.
The vigilance mechanism is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, with the participation of all relevant sectors as well as security services.
The establishment of the vigilance mechanism comes in implementation of the President of the Republic’s instructions during the recent Council of Ministers meeting, which called for providing all favorable conditions for citizens to spend the holy month of Ramadan in comfort and tranquility.
