Minister of Communication Zouhair Bouamama emphasized the necessity of respecting copyright, including production rights, as a fundamental pillar for building modern and professional media.
In his speech at the opening of a study day titled “Respecting Copyright, a Pillar of Modern Media,” Bouamama stressed that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has defined the roadmap since taking office by committing to respect copyright and ensuring press freedom, independence, and professional ethics.
The Minister of Communication stated that copyright is an essential tool for protecting artistic creativity, allowing creators to control the use of their works and ensuring they are rewarded for their efforts.
Bouamama also highlighted the need to achieve balance and harmony between the citizen’s right to access information and intellectual property rights.
