Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a joint ministerial council meeting on Tuesday dedicated to studying special measures for the continuous and regular supply of the national market with all food products, especially those of wide consumption, as well as vegetables, fruits, meat, and poultry.
This meeting comes as part of the preparations for the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH/2026 AD, and based on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
The meeting addressed practical measures to ensure the availability of cash liquidity, especially at Algeria Post offices and automated teller machines (ATMs).
In this context, a multi-sectoral committee was established at the level of the Prime Minister’s office to permanently monitor the supply status of the national market with food products and price stability during the month of Ramadan.
