Civil Protection services managed to extinguish a massive fire that broke out yesterday evening inside a glass production and processing plant in the Larbaâ district of Blida province.
According to the General Directorate of Civil Protection, its units intervened at 19:20 following a raw material leak inside the glass production and processing facility, specifically at the glass melting furnace level, in the municipality and district of Larbaâ, Blida.
The same services confirmed that no casualties were recorded, while cooling and monitoring operations remain ongoing.
The Civil Protection services deployed seven fire trucks and an ambulance for this intervention.
