The Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Ouadah, received a delegation from the University of Naples Parthenope yesterday evening at the “Algeria Venture” accelerator headquarters. The delegation was led by University President Antonio Garofalo and accompanied by the Italian Ambassador to Algeria, Alberto Cutillo.
This visit falls within the framework of Algerian-Italian cooperation regarding the development of entrepreneurial skills in Algeria. During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to develop the necessary capacities for creating innovative ecosystems and promoting a joint approach in the field of micro-enterprises.
The program included presentations by officials from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, along with professors from the Italian university. The Italian delegation was briefed on the startup ecosystem and mechanisms for promoting entrepreneurship, including ANGEM, NESDA, and the National Agency for the Self-Employed (ANAE).
The Italian side presented programs aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial capacities within universities and explored avenues for cooperation in sustainable development. This initiative represents a significant step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
