Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a coordination meeting with the governors of the Republic via video conference to discuss preparations for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Sayoud, and the Minister of Internal Trade and Market Regulation, Amal Abdellatif.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister issued instructions aimed at strengthening coordination and unifying efforts to ensure close monitoring of the supply of essential goods to the market for citizens during the holy month.
In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of adopting a proactive approach by establishing monitoring and coordination cells at the local level.
For his part, the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport stressed the pivotal role of local authorities, led by the governors, in ensuring the effective implementation of the government’s directives and achieving full readiness for the holy month.
The Minister also noted the necessity of involving all stakeholders to ensure the availability of all widely consumed goods during the holy month.
