The National Meteorological Office has warned of strong winds accompanied by sandstorms across several provinces of the country.
A weather alert issued on Saturday stated that the provinces of Béchar, Naâma, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’Sila, Ouled Djellal, El M’Ghair, and Biskra will experience strong winds exceeding 100 km/h, accompanied by heavy sandstorms.
In another alert, the same body warned of strong winds in the provinces of Boumerdès, Algiers, Tipaza, Chlef, Mostaganem, Oran, Aïn Témouchent, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbès, and Saïda.
