The inspection unit of the passenger inspection inspectorate at Mostefa Ben Boulaid International Airport in Batna seized sums of foreign currency. According to the General Directorate of Customs on Thursday, the operation took place during the processing of an international flight, resulting in the apprehension of two individuals attempting to smuggle 34,060 Euros and 4,110 Saudi Riyals.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by customs services to combat money smuggling attempts and strictly enforce current legislation and regulations.
