General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, monitored on Thursday morning at the remote sensing ground station site the launch of the “Alsat-3A” observation satellite from the Jiuquan Launch Center in northwest China.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the launch of the Alsat-3A satellite, which took place at 05:01 AM Algeria time (12:01 PM China time), was successful.
This will provide the country with additional data through high-resolution satellite capabilities dedicated to observation, as well as strengthen the system in the field of geospatial intelligence and value-added geospatial information, such as mapping, digital elevation models, and others.
