The 13th Urban Security services in Oran have arrested a woman in her forties who headed a criminal network involved in violent robberies and assaults using prohibited bladed weapons.
According to a police statement, the arrest followed the analysis of a video circulating on social media, which allowed investigators to identify the suspects and their location.
After completing all legal procedures with the public prosecutor at the Oran Court and obtaining search and arrest warrants, the location was raided. The suspect was arrested, and five prohibited bladed weapons of various types and sizes were seized, along with a predatory animal used to terrorize victims and facilitate assaults and robberies.
The suspect was presented before the judicial authorities, where a detention order was issued against her.
