The National Meteorological Office reported, in a special alert, thunderstorms and heavy snowfall across several provinces of the country.
A special bulletin from the same services warned on Sunday of thunderstorms in the provinces of El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Blida, Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, and Medea.
Another alert reported heavy snowfall in the provinces of Khenchela, Batna, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Tizi Ouzou, and Bejaia.
