Forty people sustained various injuries following the overturning of a passenger bus in the province of Djelfa.
According to Civil Protection reports, emergency services intervened at 02:22 following an accident involving the skidding and overturning of a passenger bus on the “Zelfana-Algiers” line, near the Taiba service station in the municipality and district of Ain Oussera.
The accident resulted in 40 people suffering various injuries, including four in critical condition, with ages ranging from 6 to 70 years. The victims were provided with first aid and transported to the hospital.
For this intervention, the Civil Protection services deployed six ambulances and a rescue truck.
