The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, oversaw the official launch of registration on the digital platform dedicated to international students on a contractual basis within the “Study in Algeria” program at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences in Ben Aknoun.
Minister Baddari announced the opening of a second session for the “Study in Algeria” project for international students enrolled in Algerian universities on a contractual basis. This follows the success of the first session, which welcomed 415 students from Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Baddari emphasized that the meeting aimed to evaluate a new format for receiving international students outside of scholarships. This is a contractual process at competitive prices that has generated financial revenue for Algeria.
The Minister also noted that this format stems from a new governance model to develop university performance and diversify its funding sources through contracts between institutions and students, defining mutual obligations with transparency and efficiency.
