The National Meteorological Office has reported significant snowfall on several highlands exceeding 1,000 meters in altitude.
According to the office, highlands above 1,000 meters in the provinces of Bechar, Tlemcen, Naama, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, and El Bayadh will experience snowfall with an accumulation of up to 10 cm, starting from noon today until 6:00 AM tomorrow, Sunday.
Additionally, highlands exceeding 1,000 meters in the provinces of Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Laghouat, and Djelfa will see snowfall reaching 15 cm in thickness, beginning at noon today, Saturday, and continuing until noon tomorrow, Sunday.
In another alert, the same services warned of snowfall starting from 6:00 PM today, Saturday, until dawn tomorrow, Sunday, in the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Medea, Bouira, Ain Defla, Bordj Bou Arreridj, and M’Sila.
