Ooredoo Supports the First Edition of the National Cybersecurity Competition

Ooredoo Algeria supported the first edition of the National Cybersecurity Competition “FENNEC CTF 2026,” organized by the National Higher School of Information and Communication Technologies and Post (ENSTICP) under the patronage of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. The event took place from February 12 to 14, 2026, at the Digital Park in Sidi Abdellah, Algiers.

This competition, which serves as the first sectoral exercise for simulating cyberattacks and a cyber hackathon, brought together experts and students from various scientific clubs across the country. It provided a platform dedicated to strengthening national cybersecurity, fostering technological innovation, and highlighting the skills of young Algerian students in the digital field.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, alongside representatives from Ooredoo. Three prizes provided by Ooredoo were presented to the winning teams by the Minister, in recognition of their excellence, innovative spirit, and understanding of cybersecurity challenges.

By supporting “FENNEC CTF 2026,” Ooredoo confirmed its commitment to the development of the technological ecosystem and the digital transformation process in Algeria. The company reaffirmed its determination to promote a culture of excellence, encourage a new generation of cybersecurity experts, and contribute to building a secure and sovereign national digital ecosystem.
