Ooredoo Launches Solidarity Initiative for Ramadan

For the fourth consecutive year, the mobile operator Ooredoo has launched a national solidarity initiative for needy families on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, in cooperation with the National Association for Voluntary Work.

The signal to start the solidarity caravan was given on Monday at the International Youth Center in Sidi Fredj, in the presence of the Director of Institutional Affairs at Ooredoo Algeria, Ramdane Djezairi, and the President of the National Association for Voluntary Work, Ahmed Malha, with the participation of a significant number of volunteers.

This operation, which adopted the slogan of solidarity and mutual aid, consists of trucks loaded with food parcels and basic supplies destined for families in need across several provinces of the country, allowing them to spend the month of Ramadan in dignified conditions that preserve their dignity and meet their needs.

This initiative is part of the solidarity program established by Ooredoo during the holy month, aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and promoting a culture of volunteering and a spirit of solidarity at the national level. Other projects complementing this path will be announced soon.

Through this initiative, Ooredoo Algeria reaffirmed its permanent commitment as a corporate citizen, actively contributing to supporting local communities and consolidating the values of solidarity and social cohesion.
