Civil Protection teams from the Guedjal unit, supported by the Setif main unit, intervened at 15:52 following a traffic accident that resulted in one death and seven injuries.
According to Civil Protection, the accident involved a head-on collision between two passenger cars on Provincial Road No. 113 between Guedjal and Ras El Ma, in the municipality and district of Guedjal, Setif province.
The accident resulted in the death of an elderly woman at the scene and injuries to seven other people, one of whom is in very critical condition. The victims include a family consisting of a man, his wife, and their two children, in addition to three other men.
The victims were provided with first aid and evacuated to the emergency department of the Setif University Hospital Center.
