The mobile inspection unit of the Oran External Customs Divisional Inspectorate, in coordination with a detachment of the People’s National Army, carried out an operation resulting in the seizure of a significant quantity of hallucinogenic pills.
According to the General Directorate of Customs, the operation led to the seizure of 6,358 “Ecstasy” pills and 19 foreign-made 300 mg Pregabalin pills, in addition to a sum of money totaling 3,030,000 dinars and one passenger car.
Three individuals were also arrested and presented before the Public Prosecutor at the Gdyel Court (Oran) for further legal proceedings.
