General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, begins an official visit to the State of Qatar starting today, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the invitation of Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the General will attend the ninth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX-2026).
During the visit, General Chanegriha will also meet with Qatari officials to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation.
