Algeria ranked first globally in the number of activities organized during the 17th edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN).
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises stated in a press release on Sunday that this achievement crowns Algeria’s participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week. This edition was organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister and saw broad participation from various actors in the national entrepreneurship ecosystem, including ministerial sectors, support and accompaniment bodies, startups, micro-enterprises, and national and international partners.
This edition served as a strong indicator of national mobilization, reflecting the growing interest in entrepreneurship and embodying its slogan “Together, We Build,” the statement added.
